“My name is Stephen Cephas and I have been in the Financial Services Industry for over 25 years. My background includes being the life insurance advisor for the State of CT employees. I consulted with several thousand employees over the years and set them up in personalized life insurance programs. The one enrollment that stands out personally is with a woman who I advised to get coverage for her son who was 19. She initially didn’t think it was necessary. because of his age. Several months later I saw her at the office and she tearfully thanked me for my advice. Unfortunately, her son died in a car crash coming home from work. He was 19 which was the same age as my oldest son.
