First, what is a Giveaway Funnel?
A Funnel is a mini website that leads a looker to become a buyer from going to your site, immediately engaging with your business, and walking them through the buying process. A Giveaway Funnel uses a prize as an ethical bribe. Customers visit the site for a chance to win and enter their name, email, and phone number. On the following page, you people an opportunity to share the giveaway with their friends or network and usually give them another chance to enter the giveaway as a reward.
How can this help your business?
You want people to jump in to your business, but you want people to buy the product first. Once they see success with the product, then they are more likely to join your team. But they have to see or experience success with the product first. They have to become passionate about the product.
Veronica, the Branning Group’s social media manager, has recently become an independent consultant for Arbonne. She has found that a “group setting” has helped encourage or influence prospects to trying a product, such as the Arbonne Detox. Being a social media whiz, Veronica has been able to utilize things like Facebook Groups or Events to create that community and “group setting”
The Giveaway Funnel would try to duplicate that success! For example:
- First, it would invite people to take part in a Detox after the upcoming holidays.
- Next, we would use a detox product as bait to get the prospect’s name and email address.
- The “prize” in the giveaway would be the product they need to take part in the actual detox.
The Giveaway Funnel Page 1:
Talk about what you are doing, give the dates and times if there is an event tied to it. Invite your audience into taking part of the giveaway/event as well as an opportunity to win if they enter their name and email.
The Giveaway Funnel Page 2:
On the following page invite them to share the giveaway with their friends or family for a chance to win. After they have signed up and said “Yes I want to win!” remember to thank them, give them the opportunity to share, and also equip them with a link to the Facebook page to join the community.
Pro Tip: If they are going to take the time to sign up for your giveaway, they are likely to buy it even if they do not win.
How can you attract leaders or people who want to join your team?
In Veronica’s case, the people wanting to take part in the detox, are going to be the type of leaders Veronica would want to seek for her team.
Pro Tip: Find people who are already entrepreneurs. It is more difficult to light the fire under someone who does not already have the entrepreneurial spirit inside of them.
Give people something they want that they can apply to their other businesses. Such as a book for their readers, memberships, or classes for marketing, etc. You need to offer them something they can use in their other business. “If you join me, you will not only have this new business, I will give you this to help your other business succeed!”
How can a network marketer use a webinar to find and attract leaders?
There are three simple ways webinars can help you attract leaders:
- By interviewing someone that your product well, which you can then use time and time again.
- Using and demonstrating your product in the webinar, how it works, wearing it, etc.
- Showing what the business part has done for you.
Pro Tip: A webinar is something that you can duplicate! Show people that they can duplicate your steps to be successful.
